CostCue stores only the Shopify data needed to calculate product cost cleanup tasks.
Data used
CostCue reads product, variant, SKU, price, inventory item, and product cost data needed to calculate missing cost, zero cost, duplicate SKU, and margin risk tasks.
Data minimization
CostCue does not need customer profiles, payment data, card data, storefront theme access, checkout data, or order customer details for its core cost cleanup workflow.
Storage and security
Shopify access tokens are encrypted before storage. Database backups contain application data only and are retained for a limited operational window.
