How SKUcue calculates low stock, dead stock, slow movers, and inventory tasks.
First scan
Install SKUcue, open the app from the Shopify admin, and run an inventory scan. The scan reads products, variants, locations, inventory levels, and recent order activity.
Low stock
SKUcue starts with a simple threshold: tracked variants with 5 or fewer available units need review. Stockout risk also uses recent sales velocity and current inventory.
Dead stock
Dead stock means a tracked variant has inventory available but no recent order activity in the selected window.
Inventory tasks
Tasks convert inventory signals into actions such as reorder, discount, add cost, or review.
CSV export
Paid plans can export the current inventory task list to CSV for a buyer, operator, or spreadsheet-based weekly review.
No tasks found
If no tasks appear, check that products have inventory tracking enabled, available stock exists, and the store has recent order history.
